Farmers don't really need to use pesticides

There is often a misconception that farmers use pesticides even though they don't need to, with anti-pesticide groups painting a misleading picture of farmers "drenching" their crops with these important products.

Farmers only use pesticides when they absolutely have to, to protect their crops and tackle pests and diseases.

They certainly won't spend valuable money on products they don't need, and when they do buy pesticides, the ensure they only use as much as necessary and not a drop more.
